HERB FESTIVAL
The Ponca City Herb Festival is held the first Saturday in June each year with free admission on the grounds of the beautiful Cann Memorial Botanical Gardens, a 10-acre showcase of exquisite landscape architecture. Visitors to Ponca City Herb Fest will enjoy the radiant colors and aromas of blooming flowers, brick walkways, water features and a variety of ornamental plants, shrubs and trees during their visit.
More than 100 vendors from Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Colorado and Arkansas have rows of fresh herbs, plants, vegetables, primitive birdhouses, yard and garden ornaments, quilts, arts and crafts, antiques, herbal vinegars and oils, handmade baskets, candles, jams and jellies, soaps, furniture, stoneware and more for sale.
The Ponca City Herb Festival also features entertainment, children's activities, food trucks and seminars for festival attendees. Past topics have included growing and using herbs, garden recipes, wildflowers, herbal products, pollinator plants, beekeeping and herbal infusions for beverages. Providing one of Ponca City’s most well-attended and well-organized functions of the year, the proceeds from this event are used to support the Survivor Resource Network, Inc.
